If you are a company or individual working with Poland or the Nordic countries, wherever you are based, you have found the right place. This is the first post on NordicPoland.com, and I want to use it to explain what this site is, who I am, and what you can actually use it for.
Who I am
My name is Søren Wilsted Christensen. I am Danish and have been living and working in Poland since 2008. Over the years I have worked with companies and individuals from many different backgrounds: Nordic companies looking at Poland, Polish companies looking north, and international businesses trying to make sense of either market. Some of you may know me from my previous sites BizInPoland or BizIPolen.dk. Everything is now gathered here under NordicPoland.com.
I understand how both sides think, what they expect, and where the misunderstandings tend to appear. I am not a consultant who flies in for a week and writes a report. I live here. I know the market from the inside and I work across borders in multiple directions. You can read more about me and my experience here.

Why I built this
There is a lot of generic information available about both markets. What is harder to find is someone who understands them well enough from the inside to be genuinely useful, no matter where you are starting from. That is what NordicPoland is built to be. I will also share my knowledge here on the Insights pages and some exclusive in the business community.
